Hello Vikings!  We hope you are having a great weekend.  Registration for our Spring Skills and Conditioning season is OPEN!!!  Please read the entire email because there is a lot to cover.  But, most importantly the registration button is on our home page but you can go straight there with the link below:

Our practices are at Dynamo Swim Club (3119 Shallowford Road, Chamblee) and will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:15pm-9:45pm.

• First Practice - Monday, March 4th
• Last Practice - Monday, April 29th
• No practices on 4/1 and 4/3 (Dekalb Co. Spring Break)
• Cost for the Spring Season is only $125
• Athletes still need to have a valid American Water Polo membership.  
• Returning players, new players, players from other clubs are all welcome.
• Please bring a friend or anyone that is interested in trying water polo, they are welcome to participate before committing.

North Atlanta Water Polo Club

You may recall in our parent meeting last year we discussed the plan to integrate our Viking Water Polo program with the larger North Atlanta Water Polo Club that focuses on year round WP and USAWP tournaments/programs.  The first step in that plan starts with this spring season.  At a high-level here are somethings that will see this spring:

• More Players and Practices opportunities -   Viking and NA athletes will have the option to practice at Dynamo during our normal practice time AND any NA practices that take place at West Gwinnett Aquatic Center.  More information on their practices will be coming soon.  No extra fees.  
• Coaching - Practices at Dynamo will still be run by Bella and Max but will be joined by NA coaches to help provide more small group or 1:1 coaching opportunities.  THIS IS HUGE!  We now have access a broader coaching staff that will help our kids and also allow all coaches to learn and grow!  
• Tournament Opportunities - Some Viking athletes already take part in year-round tournaments with Dynamo or NA.  There are huge growth opportunities even playing just one or two travel tournaments a year.  We want to provide more access to all Viking players to these opportunities.  

We plan to share more information about all of this in our Parent Meeting on March 6th.
